Event Recap: Sweatworking @ Equinox

Last Thursday night, 40 professional women came together at Equinox on Bay Street for our third installment of the Smart Girls Sweat Toronto “sweatworking” series! We started the evening with an intense MetCon3 class lead by the amazing Erin Phelan. Let’s just said the workout HIIT the ladies hard ( pardon the pun ;) )!

After working up a great sweat, we took a quick break and enjoyed refreshing eucalyptus towels provided by Equinox.  We enjoyed some delicious healthy snacks from Simply Protein, Yes Peas!, and probiotic juices from Greenhouse Juice while networking.

Finally, we gathered for the keynote speaker, Lesley-Anne Scorgie. Lesley-Anne spoke about the importance of financial fitness and literacy for women, and how to avoid the common financial pitfalls that effect women. She also spoke about keeping all your life “pillars” in balance (personal, professional, financial) and shared her wisdom about how she manages to keep hers in check.

We ended the evening with a brief networking session. Our sweatworkers got to take some amazing swag bags home courtesy of our fantastic sponsors. Special thank you to Equinox Bay St. for hosting us, Lesley-Anne for her fantastic and inspiring keynote, and to our fantastic sponsors that make our events possible!
