On Wednesday, January 27th, 50 professional women came together for the second installment of the Smart Girls Sweat Toronto Sweatworking event series at Hard Candy Fitness. The theme of the evening was goal setting – or as we prefer to call it – “goal-sweating”!
We started the night with an amazing high energy black light hot yoga class. After working up an epic sweat, we gathered for some delicious healthy refreshments including coconut water from Jax Coco, protein pancakes provided by Fuel Foods (a Toronto-based food delivery service) and protein bars from SimplyProtein.
After refueling, we heard from our keynote speaker was Robyn Baldwin, Sr. Integrated Marketing Manager at Kobo, well-known blogger, and fitness personality. Robyn spoke with the group about goal-setting and her unique approach to work-life harmony. She went through different goal-setting methods and how she actually applies those to her life. The group took home lots of practical and applicable tips to help them set effective goals for 2016.
We ended the evening with a relaxed networking session for people to mix and mingle, and talk to our speakers and sponsorship reps. Our guests took home some truly phenomenal swag bags full of healthy treats and supplies to get them started on their health goals for 2016! A special thanks to our fantastic sponsors for providing lots of goodies for our sweatworkers!
